To: My Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Subject: The Rape of Innocence – U.S. Homo/Church Invades the Catholic Kindergarten

image of letter writingToday, Ash Wednesday, the United States Coalition for Life is launching its first initiative in a multi-faceted year-long national campaign to prevent the U.S. Homo/Church from gaining access to and control of our Catholic kindergarten and elementary/secondary parochial school system. The clerical lavender lobby, with its feminist-gender-bending adjunct, has chosen a new third generation sexual catechetical program called Growing In Love (actually Growing In Filth) to implement its far-reaching agenda. Unless challenged by the Catholic faithful now, this latest homo-erotic sex program designed for grades K-6 (ages 5-12) when combined with various AIDS curriculums already in place, will make any future attempts at dislodging the homosexual/sex ed combine in Catholic schools virtually impossible.

The time is late, but fortunately, we have a few practical things working for us.

First, the deaths of Joseph Cardinal Bernardin and more recently, that of Bishop James T. McHugh, the Grand Architect of Sex-Ed, have temporarily left the Sex Education Movement in Catholic schools without a visible hierarchical leader.

Secondly, Growing in Love, is so utterly disgusting and depraved in its explicit description of perverted sex acts including oral sex techniques for male and female heterosexuals and homosexuals, and so in-your-face with “gay and lesbian agit-prop,” that it just might spark enough public outrage to force the American hierarchy and the Vatican to bring this experiment to a merciful end. fifty-year anti-life, anti-child, anti-family and anti-God.

As you will see in the Letter to the Most Rev. Jerome Hanus, O.S.B., archbishop of Dubuque, out first short-term objective is to get the Nihil obstat and the Imprimatur removed from all Harcourt Religion Publishers’ catechetical publications. Please note that HRP was formerly Brown/ROA publisher of the New Creation Series. The letter was sent to Archbishop Hanus on February 22, 2001. The USCL received a reply on February 27th acknowledging the receipt of our critique and indicating that our points would be taken under consideration.

Our second objective is to bring HRP’s Growing in Love to the attention of the three Roman Curia discasteries responsible for the current sex education debacle in Catholic schools. They are the Sacred Congregations for the Defense of the Faith and for Catholic Education and the Pontifical Council for the Family. The situation is so grave that nothing less than a public declaration from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith signed by the Holy Father confirming the traditional total ban on classroom sex education as enunciated by Pope Pius XI in his encyclical On the Christian Education of Youth on December 31, 1929 will do. This declaration must be accompanied by severe sanctions for hierarchical, clerical, religious and lay teacher offenders. Words must be backed by action and effective sanctions. Simply removing the offending program, will, as experience has shown, be a futile effort. Growing In Love will simply be replaced by another sex program so that the last state is worse than the first.

To read Pope Pius XI’s encyclical on Catholic Education of Youth, click on the Catholic Education of Youth. The follow-up decree of the Holy Office on March 21, 1931 reaffirming that “no approbation whatever” can be given the method called “sex-education” or even “sex initiation…” can be obtained by sending a SSAE to the USCL at Box 315, Export, PA 15632.

Attachment #2 contains the addresses and e-mails of the various congregations in Rome as well as that of the U.S. Apostolic Delegate and Archbishop Hanus. They are listed in order of importance beginning with Archbishop Hanus and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Attachment #3 contains a sample of the types of sexual information contained in various Growing in Love manuals and texts. The material is sexually explicit. Comments and observations are also explicit.

Action Line:

1. Please send a communication to Archbishop Hanus in support of the USCL position on the removal of his Imprimatur from all Harcourt Religion Publisher’s catechetical materials including Growing in Love as found in theFebruary 22nd letter.

2. Please send a letter or e-mail to the Prefect of the Congregation for The Faith asking for a total ban on so-called “sex education,” in all its forms and the re-establishment of traditional doctrinal catechetics in Catholic schools.

3. Similar letters of support should be sent to all the remaining addresses as time permits.

4. Please share this information with as many concerned Catholics as you can.

5. Send this communication to your bishop and diocesan paper. What sex program is your diocese using?

6. Please pray for the success of this campaign and that the abomination known as “sex-education” be eradicated from our schools.

Some Final notes:

We would appreciate receiving copies of any communications sent and received. Mothers’ Watch of Baltimore, MD has obtained the full Growing In Love package with all its manuals and videos. Its next newsletter will be on the Harcourt program. Keep in mind, that when the classroom door is closed the teacher IS the text.

Further details on the pro-homo consultants for the series can be found at www.conservativecatholic.com. Our appreciation to Mr. Rick Hevier of Syracuse, NY who has provided the USCL with valuable materials and information concerning theGrowing In Love program.

God Bless you!
