Catholic Classroom Sex Education is an Oxymoron
February 1993
When I finally finished Oxymoron, in February 1993, I sent it to Cardinal Law. It was over 200 pages. It contained the text of many Church Teachings, previous correspondence between us plus the critiques of 16 sex education programs that were being advocated at the Religious Education Office of the Archdiocese of Boston. The original Oxymoron is not reprinted here.
I suggest that you finish the letters in this section first, and then read the portions of Oxymoron as directed below according to your specific interest.
For your convenience, original Oxymoron topics have been segmented into separate sections for you on this web site. Here is your road map: The church teachings and critques are found in the Sex Eduction Portal in the parent of this Letters page, which is called Crocodile Tears and Sex Education. They also appear separately in the Sex Education Portal.
